Ron McGowin, Senior High & College Pastor
Ron joined the Liberty Heights team in August 2007. His desire is to see students and their families experience abundant life in the Kingdom of God, beginning at Liberty Heights and extending to the ends of the earth.
Ron was born and raised in Texas and still cheers for the Texas Longhorns. He received a B.A. and M.A. from Criswell College in Dallas, TX, where also he met his wife Emily. They have been married since July 2003. Emily has a B.A. from Criswell and an M.Div from Truett Seminary at Baylor University, Waco, TX. Together, they enjoy raising their five “kids”: Oliver and Cooper (energetic, pure-bred Boxers), Jezebel, Elijah, and Jonah (fun-loving cats).
