What is Foundations?
Formally known as Starter Kit, Foundations is Liberty Height's group discipleship experience, and the opportunity to walk personally with a coach who can encourage you as you establish—or reestablish—a strong foundation for following Jesus.
First step is an onramp into foundations.

Getting Started
the four week journey
Wherever you are in your journey with Jesus, there is always a next step. First Step is a four-week experience designed to help you take yours. Whether you are new to Liberty Heights, new to following Jesus, returning to faith after some time away, or simply ready to grow deeper, First Step will help you discover what it looks like to follow Jesus in biblical community. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to be willing to take a step.
During First Step, you'll have the opportunity to:
Discover what matters most.
Explore the four core values that shape how we understand discipleship and biblical community at Liberty Heights.
Build a stronger foundation.
Discover Foundations (formally known as Starter Kit), our group discipleship experience, and the opportunity to walk personally with a coach who can encourage you as you establish—or reestablish—a strong foundation for following Jesus.
Discover your place.
Explore how God has uniquely shaped and gifted you and begin identifying your place in biblical community, serving others, and participating in God's mission.
Find people to walk with you.
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. First Step gives you a supportive environment to build relationships and begin taking your next steps alongside others.
First Step isn't intended to be the destination. It's the beginning of a journey. As you move through these four weeks, we'll help you identify what your next step might be—building your foundation through discipleship, connecting with a coach, finding biblical community, discovering how God has gifted you, serving others, or investing in someone else's journey. You don't need to know every step God has for you before you begin–just take the first one.
